FCCNS is committed to providing a
strong
cultural framework for the families of Chinese children in Nova Scotia
and as such we rely heavily on the ‘human resources’ of our membership
to make this happen.Currently, FCCNS is in desperate need of
member volunteers to assist in a variety of roles including members of
the Executive as well as various roles within our Saturday school and
key cultural events - Moon Festival, Chinese New Year and Dragon
Boat Festival. We are happy to accept as little or as much time as you
can afford. For more information please contact info@fccns.ca

About FCCNS
Members of FCC include families who have already adopted from China, people in the process of adopting, people considering adoption, and adoption professionals. There are many FCC chapters throughout the world and all chapters share the following three goals: 1.
to advocate
for and support the children remaining in orphanages in China,
2. to encourage adoption from China and support waiting families; and 3. to support families who have adopted from China through post-adoption and Chinese culture activities. Our events
usually
include New Year and Moon Festival parties and Dragon Boat festivities.
We operate a Saturday morning Chinese Cultural School for elementary
aged children.
Membership in FCCNS is free. Add your name to our email list to be notified of events. Please contact the Webmaster (Linda Lefler) |
