FCCNS  Families with Children from China - Nova Scotia

Description: Description: Description: logo

FCCNS is committed to providing a strong cultural framework for the families of Chinese children in Nova Scotia

and we rely heavily on the ‘human resources’ of our membership to make this happen.

Currently, FCCNS needs volunteers to assist in a variety of roles including members of the

Executive and various roles within our Saturday school and key cultural events  -

Moon Festival, Chinese New Year and Dragon Boat Festival. We ask for as little or as much time as you can afford.

HRM LIBRARY DONATIONS

FCCNS together with HRM libraries is in the process of developing an adoption-related book section at local library branches.

If anyone is interested in donating books on themes related to Adoption, China, Chinese Adoption, or Attachment,

please contact Karla at karlason@bellaliant.net. The library has requested that we arrange one person to coordinate and

drop off the books, so please provide your donations to Karla. This is a good way to share resources with other families

and to know that they are being well used. Thank you!
